In the book New Moon Bella talks about how a lady lost her scarf in Italy due to the wind. She talks about it for about half a page and wanted to know if a scarf represents something. it seems important because she talks about it too much for it to be insignificant

  1. Good point....um I don't know.

    Wow for picking that up.

  2. you wrap it around your neck and then your neck is warm but its kind of uncomfortable and not really worth wearing.

  3. I forget, wasn't that when Edward was missing....waasn't the scarf supposed to hide her or something....Arg, i don't remember! lol, Wasn't a scarf on the front of new moon? It may not be anything, but....

O, my bad lol, Um...i think it was more symbolism for the fact that the scarf was somewhat that person's sanctuary/mask...and then the wind comes and takes it away, exposing her to the elements....Kinda i guess what bella would be feeling like then....Her Edward is her shelter and she feels like she is losing him...and thus exposing her to the volturi...Kinda see what i'm getting at? Sorry, that i messed up, i read the books a little while ago and its always hard to remember something that specific in books, i read so much! lol
