Does a score on the AP exam affect my GPA?

If I don't pass the AP exam, does this mean that I won't recieve the AP credit for that class? Will it lower my gpa if i get a 1? Thanks.

  1. AP scores don't affect your high school GPA. If you get an A in the class and a 1 on the test, you'll still have an A for the class. You just won't be able to get college credit for it, since most colleges take 3's and above, and primarily 4's and above. But your regular GPA will remain untouched.


  2. It will in no way affect your grade in high school.  The only thing that comes out of it is that you wont get a college credit for the class.  Also, if you send the scores to a college, they will look down on that.

  3. no it just gives u credit as a college class.  just taking it gets u the 2 credit points
