  1. it eats sea food and smelly food lol...see it i think, because when im at the beach i make a point to feed them at least a loaf of bread...and bread doesn't have a strong smell to it...if at all. but don't quote me!

  2. They don't smell anything they simply SEE fish in the ocean and eat them or anything else humans throw to them on the beach.

  3. Seagulls are scavengers ! They will eat almost ANYTHING they have learned to hang out with humans since we eat all the time and toss plenty out these birds know where grub is at and where to Look for it and when. They use there eyes to feed. They can be seen around fishing boats waiting for a toss out, picnic grounds, parking lots where alot of food is dumped, and garbage dumps with lots to choose from. They give us a valuable service-they are SANITATION ENGINEERS!!! with wings.

They scavenge up great numbers of dead animals and organic litter which could pose a health threat to humans BUT NOT ALL ARE SCAVENGERS!!!!!!
