I have the Sims 2 and I've always had full control over my sims at all times but recently I had a couple who had 5 children that I sent to college and now are all back in the neighborhood. Now it's taking me forever to get through each sims life with 6 total families. If I switch a household to free will, will they continue to live their life even when I'm not there? I wish it would because some the sim families I could careless about.

  1. They live but not as well. They might die or get taken away by a social worker more easily because they aren't too good about remembering to feed themselves, and especially their children. I say leave it on free will and periodically fill up those party buffets so they don't die.

  2. You mean like when you're on neighborhood view, right? Like will your sims still be going if free will is on? No, free will just makes it so when you're IN the lot playing with your sims, they can make their own choices instead of you forcing them to. (like going to the bathroom when they need to, sleeping, deciding to watch tv, eat, etc) As soon as you LEAVE the lot it'll just pause the house like it does when free will is off.

  3. i have Sims 2 for xbox but not for computer.

  4. No, you have to be playing the family for time to pass.

  5. Yes, sims can do alot of stuff on they're own but they're bars will possiby turn on yellow (BAD THING)

But yeah you can do it, oh yeah, I have university to.Also, you should move the young adult sims (they're adults now) out it will be easier for your sims to get through and get they're needs.
