Question:

Does a small/minor chipped tooth need to get fixed

It's on the bottom front teeth. It just appeared all of a sudden, I didn't break my tooth or did anything to get it chipped. Is this normal? Could it be a cavity on my front teeth? What happens if I don't get it fixed?

  1. You should have it evaluated by your dentist.  If it is just a chip from biting on something it is probably fine leaving it alone.  However if there is decay present, a filling would need to be done before the decay gets into the nerve canal.
