  1. No it does not. A straight, in poker, is when you have a number of cards in order. Ex: 9,10,Jack,Queen,King. A flush is when you have all of one suit. Ex: all spades

  4. No, only way a straight beats a flush when it is a "straight flush" meaning you have all the same suit plus 5 consecutive numbers(10,jack,queen,king,ace). But other wise flush beats a straight.
