The Student Drive will always be driving with his parents, who have insurance on all cars. Is he required to have Insurance? Or will the Parents Policy cover him?

  1. I recommend you visit a local auto insurance agent to assist you. Since I live in Oklahoma I can't recommend anyone in Ohio, but here is an online resource that can help you. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Free-Aut...

    Good Luck.

  2. The Parents Insurance Policies cover all vehicles. and all drivers. Check into all drivers in the family. The parents auto insurance will likely go up with a new young driver. There is no need to get insurance unless the young student driver purchases his own car .

  3. your parents policy will cover you.

  4. No one can say, flat out, absolutely, that the parents policy will cover him if he's not listed.  Some policies will, some won't.  The parents will have to call their insurance agent, or company, to see if they need to list him.
