I put my contact lenses in this morning and realized afterward my eyes were irritated a little bit. The rest of the day was fine. When i took my contact lenses out at night it felt like a piece broke off and got stuck behind my eyelid, i looked and looked for it but found nothing, i did notice a little bump under my eyelid, around the same spot it feels like my "contact lens" is stuck, could that be a stye?

  1. A stye is usually right on your eyelid and visible.  So it doesn't really sound like a stye.  There are a couple of other possibilities, including a corneal ulcer, which is not uncommon in people who wear contacts, and of course, there is the possibility of pink eye.

Have a look at these sites and they may be of help.

  2. It could be a stye or a piece of your contact lens, or both...

Pop into your local optom asap, that way if it is contact lens, they can get it out before it scratches anything... and your eye will feel way more comfortable as well.

    Good luck
