Does a tattoo on the wrist hurt?

well im 16 and thinking of getting a tattoo and my wrist of a couple of small stars, ive never had one before but my sister has, and she said it doesnt hurt ( but she had it done on her arm). So i was wondering does it hurt much there?

I have one on each wrist and it hurt the least of all my tattoos.

All tattoos hurt. It varies because of placement (bony areas, and different skin, places that bend, etc.) and it matters on who you are, your pain threshold, and what you have already gone through. (If you've had an accident or major surgery or dental abscesses, tattoo pain is annoying but easy to go through... but if you have never experienced much pain, then it is a much bigger deal).

But a couple little stars is manageable, and my extensive wrist tattoo really didn't bother me at all to get. It won't take long to do either, so you will know much more about how you handle tattoos when your done.

Just breathe, relax, and no matter what, do not move.

You can always wait until you are 18, there is no hurry, and if you have any doubts whatsoever, do not do it until you are very clear (even if it takes years or never).

I've got a tattoo on each wrist and it was surprisingly pleasant compared to what i had heard about wrist tattoos.  People who tell you it hurts are weiners.  It's mind over matter.  It's all tolerable if you want it to be.  Go for it.

No one can ever answer this question. Everyone has a different level of pain tolerance and everyone feels differently when getting tattoos. Certain areas hurt more for some people.

I don't think they do mine is o the back of my wrist...the worst part was the halo...

my brother who has a few tats said that a tatto hurts anywher that doesn't get snu exposure. he has a big one that takes over the entire area below the wrist and he said it hurt but his other ones didn't. i want one on my wrist too :)

Yes, it kind hurts no matter where you get them, however it tends to hurt more on bony areas.
