  1. No, that would only occur in the minds of die hard, narrow minded sock puppet neo-con republicans that refuse to acknowledge that Washington needs change from top to bottom, republican and democrats alike.

  2. It might--if Palin were in any sense "trans formative." She's not.  She's nothing but an unqualified token and a religious fanatic.

She's not even the first women to be a VP candidate. That was Geraldine Fearo (DEMOCRAT) in 1984.

McCain is engaging in nothing but a cynical attempt to get some female voters --and his choice of a "candidate" shows he has nothing but contempt for women, since he apparently thinks most women are too stupid to see the difference between  an incompetent religious nut like Palin and an intelligent and accomplished woman like Hillery--or Condi Rice on the Republican side.

  3. obammy-biden are done.....smart move for the mcCain camp.

  4. I hope you get to see palin as prez, then it will be obvoius you hate this country.

  5. No, it spels doom for McCain. That and hurricane Gustav going to tear up the gulf coast again leaving the republican convention in the toilet because nobody will care.

  6. Not if voter realize that Obama chose his Vice president to BE the Vice President of this Nation for 4 to 8 years... while McCain chose one only to try to win an election.

  7. Do you mean Palin the   mayor from Alaska every time it come up it really make me  lmao to think McCain would pick someone who only been in office for two and from a state where the animals out number the peoples 20 to 1.  Let it be clear Palin is no (Hillary Clinton) . She doesn't have the experience that hillary dose  so it's laughable no insulting to even mention Palin in the same sentence.  Who is Sarah Palin ? She was elected Alaska 's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.1

Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.2

She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. 3

Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.4

She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.5

She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years.  .

    OBAMA/ BIDEN 2008

  8. If by "transformative" you mean not capable of leading the country if something happens to McCain then I think this was an excellent choice, from the point of view of the Obama/Biden campaign.

McCain's best argument against Obama was the experience argument and now with this VP pick McCain has negated that argument and "transformed" the campaign to one favorably heavily weighted on the side of Obama.

  9. A solid conservative like Palin will rally a lot of conservatives to vote for McCain who would not have before
