Does a voided check included with a direct deposit of salary document need to have name & address on it?

I need to submit the direct deposit of salary document to a job I just started, and it says to attach a voided check. I've noticed my checks don't come with a printed name and address in the upper left hand corner like most checks do... would that matter? Would having my account number and bank routing number on the check be enough information for my timesheet to be processed for payroll?

  1. all they need is the account and routing number. As long as they have that then your set
