Does a wakeboard or a wakeskate have to be bent?

yes its what makes it sit on top of the water and its called rocker  the bent thing that is, i hope thats what were talking about.

Im going to assume that by "bent" you mean Rocker, it doesnt have to have rocker, but it will be a pain in the *** to use a board with no rocker, how much is a personal choice

it has to be rocker at least a little bit so it doesnt catch the edge and floats better but how much doesnt really matter.
