  1. Depending on the thickness of the wetsuit and your body density, the wetsuit can keep you afloat; however...

A life vest is desgined to keep you face up in the water if you go unconscious.  The wetsuit does not provide this safety aspect.

I highly recommend wearing the life vest.

  2. Some wetsuits do yes. but personally it is MUCH easier to just go with the lifejacket.  They make quite a few that actually DON't make you look lame! amazingly enough.

  3. wetsuits help you float for sure. i'm not sure about where you live, but i know you legally need to wear a life vest here when being towed. If not, you can be fined. they make very nice life vest. I have a neoprene one that is comfortable and light.

  4. im not sure. but i would wear a life vest as well even if it does.
