Does a white polo shirt go with a black jumper?

Bit of a random question...but were having a big argument in the flat...

Does a white polo shirt go well with a black hoodless jumper over the top, or does it look silly.

And should the collar of the shirt be up or down.

no... it doesn't... silly, you shouldn't wear a collar with a jumper.

i don't really see the problem. you should wear the collar up underneath the jumper. chicks like guys with their collar up.
