  1. Its used to speak to the dead, and personally, i dont think it works, i think its your mind.

  2. No it does not work!  A board game like this can not really help you spiritually.  You can Google Ouija and find out for yourself.

  3. yes it works. it works so well that it is real. it will scare you. I wouldn't use it or I would pray real hard before i did.

  4. It works to a certain extent.  The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

  5. I think you mean a ouija board, but simply it's a board used out of superstition to talk to the dead through a seance. Honestly, it's a pretty dangerous object to have in the house. If you or your friends have one then I would recommend burning it or throwing it away.

To Seth Cree: According to the Catholic Church, you have to burn the board in order to properly dispose of it. Besides, why would you pass on a ouija board to someone else? I don't know if you have any lack of concern for other people, but it's a board derived from paganism and endangers both your body and mind because you fully give yourself to it.

  6. yeah it works its scarryyy but real

  7. I JUST posted this in another question...

It all depends on how you look at it. If you hear anything about someone having a fun experience with one of the new ones printed on cardboard... probably fake. However, if you find one of the really old ones made of wood and glass that's had a few previous owners... you'd have a better chance in having a real experience. It's all based on how much belief you put into it though. If you think someone is moving it, someone probably is. But if you believe you're actually receiving a message from beyond the grave... you probably are.

And for you, Mr. iJomer... You CAN NOT get rid of a REAL board by destroying it... You have to give it away. I've seen two cases of this happening. Once to my aunt and once to an old friend.

  8. First, It's spelled Ouija. The board was invented during a time where communicating with the spirits was a popular event for families. It is a board with all of the letters, numbers, and a simple place for the words "yes" and "no". There is a small piece (usually triangular) with a clear window. It is said if you put your fingers on it in a dark room with friends, you can communicate with the spirits.

However, it's hard to tell if it really works. It's based off of the honors system, but it's easy to move the little piece without anyone noticing. You can't really tell if it's the spirits or the mischevious spirit of friends. I'd imagine it's usually the latter, but I'm not totally denying the former.

Personally, I've used the Ouija with some really weird results that came true. I don't think it works, but it's always fun to believe that it does, huh?

  9. Please, please, please don't play with ouija boards. They do attract bad energy and that is scary. You do not want to even chance it.
