Does absence makes the heart grow fonder or is it a case of out of sight out of mind?

I have been involved casually with a man (pisces) and things have been going sour in that I want a relationship and he doesn't. I know he does really like me as he has told me soooo just that he aint ready to get into anything. Anyway my main question is.......if I don't contact him will the heart grow fonder or will it be a case of out of sigh out of mind????

In my experience, out of sight is out of mind if you're not really that into the person.

look this question is very similar to something i went through. i was seeing a pisces man for about 7 months. the chemistry was great and i was sure he had feelings for me. eventually we had a talk and it turned out he wasnt ready for a relationship. i was heartbroken and told him i wanted everything between us over. he said fine and acted like he didnt care. i never called again and neither did he. i guess what im trying to say is pisces men are undesicive and commitment phobes.

Ok here is the truth about getting a guy to commit to you, the funny thing is I think I read it in Cosmo or something but the truth of it struck me like a ton of bricks because I realized it was true about myself.  At some point in the relationship the guy has to feel like he picked you and that he had to fight a least a little to keep you.  It should not be an on going thing where he has to constantly pursue you for the rest of your life, but just a single point in time where he picked you.  So he needs to feel like he made a conscious decision to be with you, and the best way to accomplish this is for him to "almost" lose you.

So go out on one more nice date with him something you would normally do, keep it light though no relationship talk, just be sweet and look happy.  Avoid him for a few days, then tell him your into him but your moving on because you need a guy that wants to be with you(longterm) as much as you want to be with him.

I believe thats true, it its meant to be.  Let it go and if its meant to be, he will come back.  Also, it sounds like you are ready for a relationship and he is not.  If he forgets about you, he didn't care in the first place.  Or he just wants to be friends.  I depends on the person and situation.
