Does accutane really work?

i know the side effects/ etc. so dont bother listing. i just want to know if it WORKS.

I have a friend who I know it worked for, and she only gets a pimple every once in a while now.

For me though, I wasn't so lucky.  About a year after my first treatment of Accutane (4 months of it) my severe acne came back.  I decided to go through with it again, but then the same thing happened.  Almost a year later, my face was terribly breaking out.  I never bothered taking it for a third time, so I'm still trying to figure out if anything will work for me.  My face has its good and bad weeks, but generally seems to be a better now.  The Accutane did help a lot though, and I'm still happy I took it those couple times to at least relieve me of acne for a short time.

When I took the Accutane, it took about 2 months (half the treatment) to notice results, so hopefully you'll notice results sooner.

Even though it didn't work for me, I would still recommend giving it a try.
