Does action replay on wii makes the wii corrupt?

I really need on finding out of : when using a action replay on will it corrupt. Cos I'm going to buy. Or I shouldn't buy action replay and just use gamespot and game qua's cheats were I just press the controls to do the cheats. Or will it make the wii just corrupt.

Is the action replay for gamecube games?  If so it shouldn't corrupt your wii.  If your wii has the latest firmware version, it's supposed to stop any hacking devices from working.  However I have a gamecube action replay and it works just fine on my wii even though I have the latest firmware version.  I think you should be fine on not having your wii corrupted, but I cant promise action replay will actually work.
