Does acupuncture/chinese medicine help snapping scapula?

I've had snapping scapula for over a year and am not interested in injections/surgery because of the bad things i've heard about both. I've done physical therapy for 6 months and it has just gotten worse.

  1. In fact this problem may well be helped by acupuncture because several channels or meridians of energy pass through the shoulder. One of the primary channels is that of the Small Intestine which zig-zags across the scapula.

In my practice I have found that blockage or imbalance in this channel is the cause of many scapula and general shoulder problems. There are points that can be used to unblock the energy and several points along the pathway as it traverses the scapula that can be used to relieve this problem.

If the acupuncturist treats your shoulder in the context of holistic treatment for your general health, the results should be promising.

  2. There may be some Chinese medicine but not Accupuncture
