  1. Depends on the cause.

You need to first obtain a correct diagnosis as to why you have the neuropathy.  It may be an entrapmant syndrome.  Commonly in the tunnel of Guyon or the elbow.  Then you go about dealing with the entrapment.  I can see no rational use for acupuncture in this case or heat.  Only one form of electrotherapy might help.  That would be something called microcurrent of a specific frequency.  But you do have to deal with the entrapment.  Some evidence of b vitamin relationship in aiding recovery but speculative.
