  1. Absolutely!

  2. um no there not steroids lol.......

  3. Rats should never have sugar or items containing sugar at all.

This will cause diabetes and in rats develops quickly.

No sugar based cerials or snacks.  The reason they may have told you this is due to they will swell with water retention as a complecation to the diabetes.

  4. lol, danielle z has it right, the rats life span immulates humans, but in fast forward

the rat is used in clinical research becaused of the 90% genetic similarity, and the repopulative ability of rats, there generational capacity is much faster than humans, 90 days from birth a rat may begin to give new birth.....whew!

but aspiringly as differing species we only share 90% in similarity.....which is relatively good in medicinal research

consider the effects noted in carcinogens such as cigarettes once the sample was set up.......1000% death rate

    p=0.001

so, feed them sugar and expect them to metabolise sugar in fast forward...thusly very likely inhibiting their overall lifespan....based primarily upon glucose studies from diabetes research

...but it might sweeten them up if for when ya' feed em to thu' cichlids......lmao

  5. umm no it wont, it will rot there teeth.

  6. If you added it to your water would you get bigger?

    No.

Maybe if he never exercizes over time he'll get fat...over  a really REALLLLY long time, but that's it.

  7. its not true. sugar is very bad for rats, so dont even think of doing that.

  8. No.

    ...Why would it?

Sugar water doesn't have growth properties.

It may cause teeth problems though, as well as possible diabetes, and can dehydrate them.

The only way it would make them 'grow bigger' is via weight gain or water holding, both of which are NEGATIVE and unwanted side effects.

Rats will eat anything- fact. Like humans. Only difference is, they don't know what is good and what is bad- so you have to stop them from eating sweet things, salty things...etc.

  9. It's not true because sugar isn't a growth food its an energy food and your Pet could end up having lots of extra energy as well as giving it problems with its body so don't do it because it could rot their teeth and harm your poor little rat.
