Does age really matter in love?

I have been in love with a guy for a couple of years now. I was never sure if he truly loved me back since we kind of have a big age difference. We were sort of in a "relationship" but I would always think he was using me - mainly for the s*x. Now, I feel like he actually is in love with me and I don't know what to believe or what to do. My heart says we both love each other but my friends comment on our age difference. Does it really matter that much?

It does not really matter that much if your vision of the future of your lives matches well.

in a way it is but then again no...just as long its not alot of yers older or younger maybe just a few...

If he's ALOT older than you, yeah, age really does matter! Also, if he's alot older than you, he knows he can use you.....

Well if at one point you felt like he was using you for s*x than you were probably right. Always go with your gut feeling. How come he is only now making you feel like he actaully loves you? You have to think about things like this before you let people in your life. As for age, it matters if the two people in the relationship feel like it matters. Age is nothing but a number. If you are both on the same page than it is okay. Watch yourself is all I can say. Don't jump into this head first.
