  1. Air, indeed all fluids, will flow from a high pressure area to a low pressure one.

This can be easily remembered with the phrase:

"Winds blow from high to low!"

On a weather map, lines called isobars join up areas where the pressure is the same. They are lines of constant pressure. Because isobars are usually placed on the map at fixed intervals, the closer together they are, the steeper the pressure drop and the more windy it will be.

  2. Air gets hot and climbs, due to convection, colder air, wherever it is, takes the place. That is wind. Hot air has to have lower pressure, ( Charles´s  law)

  3. Air flows from high pressure to low on a weather map.

In truth pressure flows to equalization, so higher pressure airs are drawn towards lower pressure areas until an equilibrium is established.

  4. yes, and that is the source of the wind.

  5. yes your right
