Does air pressure cause winds?

Also, does air pressure decrease as altitude increases?

I don't think so, but I just want to make sure.

    Winds are caused due to difference in atmos. pressure.

    Winds move frm high pressure to low pressure, same as water from high altitude to lower.

    Also atmos. pressure decreases as we go higher.

    yes air pressure decreases as altitude increases as far as i know as the air pressure is the weight that the air exerts on the land due to the force exerted by the upper layers of air
