No, of course not.  Gasoline is a heavier molecule than alcohol.  Therefore, it has more substance to burn.  Therefore, alcohol has the lighter, cooler, flame.

That is why the use alcohol fuels in racing.  Yes, there is a bit less power, and you do not get as much mileage from a tank of fuel.  But this makes the sport safer in crashes.  Besides, alcohol is miscible with water, so the flame is easier to put out.  Gasoline floats on water (due to the "oiliness" of it), and so you have a hotter flame, that is harder to put out...
