Does alcohol reveal the INNER you?

does alcohol bring out the real you, and by real you i mean stuff that lets say your to scared to do, or to embarrssed to etc? what about violent drunks, is that there INNER self?

Alcohol will make you 10 feet tall, superman, the Hulk, and that 007 dude all in one. You will think you are God's gift to women, and you can kick the NY Giants asz. After a few altercations, a wee growth spurt(physically and mentally), and some well earned wisdom, a few nol-prosed court appearances, a probationary period, and some healing, you will learn how to maintain without the drama. Maybe.

it brings out what u dont normally do (if u are shy )    but it just X2 to ur personality if ur out going

Alcohol impedes your judgment. I  ended up getting drunk and making out with two girls one night. I'm straight. Does that mean that my "inner self" is a L*****n. Believe me, I'm not. I think alcohol influences a person to do things they normally wouldn't, but it has nothing to do with who you really are.

NO it's not the real me, if your too scared or embarrassed straight then be prepared to pay a hefty hospital bill. Violent drunks? Some are born that way the others are fu**ed up on drugs and alcohol.

the real you lol yes it does just depends on your intake of alcohol that day/night

My experiences weren't so good i did a lot of awkward things ...

i acted like a very stuck up girl-- not normally like that

spoke to the wrong peoples and gve them the wrong impression

got a few numbers here n there and acted vry wild

but evrything ws completely different once my boyfrnd found out there ws h**l to pay and i learned everything the hard way

It certainly lowers the inhibitions. I've been around happy drunks and mean drunks and I don't like any of them. If you've ever been sober around a bunch of people who are wild, loud and/or mean it doesn't seem like much fun at all.

I wouldn't say INNER self, but I would say that alcohol kinda gets us to forget about the stuff we normally lie about. A sober mind takes into account peoples feeling, its own emotions, consequences of actions etc...

a drunk mind does not. although I will say violent drunks do reveal something about a person's nature.

It just makes not care about anything any more, so you dont get embarrassed, cuz you dont care

alcohol doesnt "reveal" someones inner self, it just emphasizes whatever mood they are in.

if someone had a bad day, or is just in a bad mood or easily irritable, they might be angry when drunk.

if someone is happy- celebrating, excited, they might be extra friendly or nice.

it can be different one day from the next.
