Does anyone know if a three year old child carrier of an Egyptian passport who's mother is an EEU member would need a tourist visa for Spain? Many thanks.

  1. Yes. The Egyptian passport holder would need a visa. The immigration officer can only go by the passport that he has in front of him. Unfortunately, the fact that you are an EEU member doesn't mean that the Egyptian passport holder is allowed entry into Spain.

When I was last working for the New Zealand government (two months ago). The contact details for the Spanish Embassy in Egypt were:

    Spanish Embassy in Egypt

    41, Ismail Mohamed

    Cairo

    Tel: 735 58 13

    Fax: 735 36 85

    Email: embespeg@mail.mae.es

Please be aware that it can take some time to process visa applications. Apply for the visa at least two to three months in advance of travelling to avoid any problems cause by visa delays.

    I hope that this helps.
