Does an Employer look down on a Bachelors of Professional Studies?

Employers seem to see those Bachelors of Professonal Studies or Bachelors of General Studies and etc. degrees as catch alls for adult students who weren't focused enough to pull a major. Most prefer that you'd actually majored in something - anything - rather than be so general. It's very much worth considering actually doing a "real" major, rather than a general studies degree, if only because of employer perceptions.
