Does an Indian citizen need a visa to go to the British Virgin Islands?

We are going on a cruise to Tartoga, BVI and wanted to find out if an Indian citizen needs a visa.

If i had to guess i would say no because they are automatically american citizens.  American citizens do not need visas.  

I am pretty sure about that answer.

(unless you were not talking about native americans.  if you meant people from india, then i think  they would need a visa)
