Question:

Does an Invisalign tray stop moving your teeth after the soreness goes away (2-3 days)?

I ask because I'm on my last tray and my teeth don't seem to be exactly where they are supposed. I have about 5 days left with my final tray, but I don't see my teeth moving any more than they have. It seems like once the soreness goes away and its easier to take trays out, most of the movement is done and then there's basically retention. Is this true? Also, my doctor told me that things are not always perfect after the last tray and the retainer I need to wear after my Invisalign treatment can take care of it. How true is this? Any dentists out there or people with first hand experiences?
