  1. Typically, your employer does not have to pay you for unused sick time.


  2. No.  Sick time is not paid out when you leave.  Vacation time accrued should be paid out though.

  4. It depends on two things: your state's laws or if it's in your employee handbook.  

  5. well i have been laid off /fired what ever you want to call it and i was given my Sick and Vacation pay.It caught me by surprise cause i was depressed about losing my job i forgot i would get severance pay.But it probably does depend on the rules of the job also.

  6. It depends if you have a written contract and what it says. If you don't they don't have to pay you.
