  1. it doens't have to be titled 'engagement ring'. my engagement ring has 3 diamonds on it, so it was called an 'anniversary ring'. you can get any ring you want.

  2. You can buy any kind of ring you want for an engagement ring. And you don't have to use diamonds, Rubies, Sapphire, make beautiful rings .

  3. Absolutely!

Actually, I think it's an excellent idea.  Your ring will be more original.  I also think colored stones are lovely.  If you want to go super traditional, there used to be a tradition where the engagement ring was lots of colorful stones where the gems spelled out "Regards" or "Dearest."

For instance Dearest could look like this:

    Diamond

    Emerald

    Aquamarine

    Ruby

    Enstatite

    Sapphire

    Topaz

Which could look something like this:  http://www.london-victorian-ring.com/pic...

    Best of luck!

  4. I agree there are definitely many beautiful rings that are not "engagment rings" and many of them are diamond rings. Truth be told they upcharge anything that is considered an engagement ring anyways you can buy a solitare with any stone or a three stone set that is equally beautiful.

  5. yes of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. You can get any ring you want and believe me when you have it on your ring finger people will know what it is.

  7. You can buy any ring as long as she loves it!

  8. Any ring which has a diamond can be an engagement ring.

Try looking here http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rin... they have hundreds of beautiful rings.

  9. No it doesn't need to be an "engagement ring".  Mine is technically an anniversary, and there is a wedding band match for it.

Mine is 21 stones in three clusters, totalling 1 ct.

The label doesn't matter, whatever you buy her will be "her engagement ring" and it doesn't need to be traditional.

  10. yes it is whatever u buy she gets, if she realy loves u she will love it!

  11. Definitely!  A lot of people nowadays are not getting traditional engagement rings so get something unique and special, not just a label.

  12. Any ring she will like and will be happy to show off is good enough.

  13. It can be any ring you choose, if you love it buy it

  14. yes of course, just make sure that's the ring that she will love. many people think that it has to be in that same case as all the other engagement rings but that is not true any ring will work. congratulation's by the way, :)

  15. You can use any kind of ring but you should be sure the lucky girl likes it - she'll want to show it off and will wear it for many many years so she really needs to like the ring.
