Does an engineers report means that the car carries the original manufacturer's warranty?

Question

If a car has been a cat D write off, and then has been repaired and got a full engineers report, then does the car still carry the original warranty of the manufacturer? or because its been a write off and the car is under three years, then is the warranty invalid even with the full engineers report?
