Does an iPod Touch Charge you for Browsing?

Are there browsing features on the iPod touch, and if so, would I need to pay for them like a cell phone? I know there is email on it, would I need to pay for that like text messaging? Also using online apps, do they cost money (other than initially buying them)?

Nope, browsing is free.

The only time you would have to pay is if you you were in a hot spot that charged. Most hot spot are free tho.
