I am an Indian citizen working & residing in Qatar, planning for a tour to UK in July - Aug 2008 with family (wife & one child both of Indian Citizenship & Qatari Resident). Would a UK Tourist VISA obtained in Qatar allow us to travel to Ireland for three to four days or do we have to apply for separate VISA to enter Ireland ? If separate VISA to Ireland is required, then how & where do we apply ?

  1. Check out our border policy, oh wait we don't have borders.

  2. Use this website to check:

  3. You could visit Northern Ireland as it's part of the United Kingdom but for the Republic of Ireland, a separate country, check with the nearest Irish Embassy,

Apparently, the nearest Irish Embassy to Qatar is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia : )
