Does an international student need to take SATs to go to a uni in Boston ?

I'm an international student, i want to major in Communication Disorders or Business, i want to study in Boston and i'd like to know if i need to take my SATs or will the TOEFL be enough.

  1. SAT is a must for anyone interested in pursuing higher education in the USA.

    Some universities will waive the TOEFEL requirement, but for most people coming from non-english speaking countries, they usually have to take this test as well.

    there are two kinds of SATs:

    SAT 1 which tests you on Math and Language (reading and writing) -- this one is an absolute must.

    SAT 2 is a specialized subject test offered in various subjects (math, physics, chem, world history, etc) Most schools do not require you to take the SAT 2 subject tests, but some ivy league schools prefer if you do. some schools will let you waive course requirements if you get good scores on relevant SAT 2 tests
