  1. As shown on the webpage from their Embassy in London, passport holders of the following countries do not require a Syrian visa: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen.

    Ireland is not in the list, so Irish people need a visa. The link tells you what you need to get it.
