Does an openside flanker do as much as the blindside flanker?

  1. Generally there is no difference in terms of skill and workloads between blind and openside flankers. However the bigger player will usually play blind as they will be better suited to tackling oppositions back row forwards. The openside is usually the quicker of the two thus better suited for tackling opposition backline.

    However in open play the entire back row should play as one not individual positions.
