Those that say their glasses are half-full are considered optimists. Yeah, but shouldn't we be more specific about the contents of the glass? If it's a glass of ****, I'm going half-empty. I don't like **** as an optimist. Yeah, we gotta half-empty **** glass right here.

  1. realist, pessimist, optimist!... all i have to say is im very boredist, serious list.

  2. So I'll also use the glass half full, half empty scenerio.

    Half full - optimist

    Half empty - pessimist

Right in the middle - realist

They are three completely different things.

  3. thats interesting because an optimist is a positive person so maybe they would be positive and call the pessimist a realist but probably not THATS MADNESS....................................

  4. I dont know but my glass is half full of emptiness

  5. Here, you are assuming that essence precedes existence.  But if existence precedes then an optimist would call a pessimist absurd.  (I crack myself up.)

  6. I'm a realist. I call a pessimist "Bob" because that's his name. I know a few optimists; they also call Bob the pessimist "Bob" because that's his name.

  7. Does a realist call a pessimist an optimist?

  8. no, he's too optimistic to see the views of a pessimist as realistic. he might, however, call a realist a pessimist :)

  9. I am an optimist and I don't.  A pessimist is just a pessimist.  A realist might actually be either optimistic or pessimistic.

  10. No, a pessimist calls a pessimist a realist.  That's what I call myself anyway.

  11. no, it's a pessimist that says that. an optimist would probably just say that the the pessimist is having a rough time & will get over it, because optimists are idiots.
