Does anchorage AK have lightning bugs?

I have never seen a lightning bug and we will be moving to AK soon. I was just woundering if they had them up there?

  1. I miss those! haha I dont believe AK has any. Even though I havent spent enough time out in the wilderness to catch lightning bugs, i think i've had enough time to consider we dont have em =(. Bring some with you and start a colony of them and soon they'll be all over AK! haha.
