  1. No it doesn't; because animal testing is performed on animals that are abundant and readily available.  Usually they are bred to have very similar genetic characteristics too.

    Wild-caught animals are rarely if ever used for animal testing, since they come from unknown conditions before they were caught, and because captive bred animals are cheaper as well as more suitable for the scientific experimental design.


  2. Nope.  The animal most used for research is the standard lab mouse.  They are produced like weeds.  Millions of them.  They can even be ordered to suit the type of research being done.  They can be ordered by color.  The presence of lab mice in no way would have an effect on the wild population of gray or field mice.
