There's the Seelie Court, the Unseelie Court, the Tuatha De Danann, etc etc.....

There aren't any "ranks". Fairies can be anything you want them to be--and other mythical creatures like pixies, brownies, imps, gnomes, are not fairies.  They come from other cultures and mythologies. There is not a single system that encompasses all of these. Each culture has its own ideas and names for mythical beings.

ooh - now that's a difficult one.

there are so many different types of faeries, some of which have hierarchical structures like we do some which don't.

there'd be too much to go into here but my favourite source on this topic is a book called 'a witch's guide to faery folk'. worth a look.
