  1. The Poisonwood Bible

  2. No, but I DO know that you will be required to spell 'anyone' and 'know' properly. Hope that helps!!

  3. Well it really depends on the district and area. I live in the US, and last year we read Macbeth, Slaughterhouse 5, East of Eden-stuff like that. I suggest you look up your school's website and talk to former students.

  4. I took AP English in both the grades. We read Shakespeare's Hamlet in grade 11 and King Lear in grade 12. We also read The Great Gatsby in grade 11 and The Life of Pi in grade 12.

In addition, we were given reading lists in both grades. In grade 11, we needed to choose any 4 of the books on the list and complete book reports on them. In grade 12, we needed to do two such book reports and then for the ISU, we were required to compare and contrast two books from the list that we did not choose earlier. NOTE: we get different reading lists in grade 11 and 12.

Lastly, we had small poetry units in both the grades.

Have fun with English, and I can tell you that taking advanced is te right way to go. It is challenging but you will notice a real difference in your overall formal writing style by the time you finish the course.

    Hope that helps.

  5. I know you have to know the difference between no and know.

  6. Oh see here in U.S.A every book is different in every state so. . .
