  1. No, Antarctica has no countries.  Seven nations have territory claimed in Antarctica, but I don't think it makes much difference to the penguins.


  2. Antarctica is antarctica. No country owns it but they have been claims to its territory but countries such as the UK, Argentina, France,etc. However, officially it is owned by no one.

  4. Indeed, there are claims to parts of the Antarctic, but these are made null and void by the Antarctic Treaty, which says noone owns the continent, and was signed by all major parties with claims on territory.

    I suggest a similar system for Jerusalem.
