  1. Foundation depth will depend on what materials you will be using to construct the office itself (timber, blocks etc), windows if any, roof type, tiles on roof etc. as the weight will determine sizing. If you are only using it as a small office, a single concrete pad (rather than traditional foundations per say) could be put down to act as the foundation and floor surface. Probably looking at blockwork wall, with 50mm air gap and 50mm wall insulation. Rough dimensions and I might be able to throw something together.

  2. Because you are building a 'permanent' unit i.e. footings, blocks etc you may fall foul of planning and/or building regs. You might consider a wooden hut which can easily be insulated against winter weather, can be erected on old concrete slabs, utilities can be incorporated, it would be quicker . . . . . . . . what more can I say?

  3. The cheapest way is to look for a concrete coal bunker, people are always looking to get rid of them.

After a good scrub, it will be fine.
