  1. The Obama campaign and the Democratic Party seem to be turning this election in a referendum over whether we're ready for "The One" to become our good and righteous leader to rule over us forever more in a land of peace, love and happiness...It's the kind of fawning that puts me off voting Obama in '08 as a former Hillary supporter.

I'm not prepared to support a new "cult of the personality"...

  2. Bobby Bobby Bobby There is no fear of anything not American Maybe bewilderment and amusement But not fear

Bobby my friend Mr Reagan said ''I don't want to contain them I want to destroy them they are an evil empire'' He went on to say ''we well not destroy them because of our power but because our cause is just'' Mr Reagan believed in God and America Over the pond y'all well never understand how deep patriotism runs in most of Americans Please do not fear it

  3. The Democratic one even had the Nuremberg roman pillars in the back ground

  5. That seems to be the word that kept popping into my head last night as I watched the Repubs hold their big shindig on CNN.

    "Nuremberg" indeed.

  6. I found the Obama speech at his convention to be much more reminiscent of the Nuremberg rallies-the 80,000 screaming fans, crying women, Obama generally whipping himself and his fans into a state of political euphoria, sort of like you-know-did 70 years ago.
