  1. A whole bunch of them do, including me. Have fun with your divulgence in a few days!

  2. I'd say that's decent... not 'good.'  It'll keep you in the top 35 most likely, but it won't win championships anytime soon.

  3. Top 10 is good but he atleast has to be in the top 5 too or 1st

  4. yes that is good

  5. Yes because there are always circumstances beyond the drivers control that could add to or take from those statistics.  If we uses statistics to judge people then we could use your statistics in asking these type of questions and say that you are a poor contributor to the Yahoo Community.

  6. It depends. I mean if your getting the best equipment of every driver in NASCAR that should be a piece of cake to do every week. Jeff Gordon was there almost 90% of the time last season with the best of the equpiment, too bad this season he's not getting it and his teammate Jr is with only 43% of top 10s. Shame on Hendrick

  7. It's mediocre. The driver will be a good one but won't be remembered in 10 years.

  8. I would say if, 43% of the time you beat 33 other drivers, you are doing pretty well.  Would like to see that percentage along with the persons percentage of top 15, top 20....

  9. In the words of Shrub.   "Duh."

    Of course its good.

Not really to the second part.  He'd be average.

Please fill me in.  The suspense is killing me.

  10. I would say yes.

    Jeff Gordon 61%

    Matt Kenseth 49%

    Dale Earnhardt Jr 43%

    Jeff Burton 41%

I think that is pretty good company, as a career in NASCAR would go!

  11. I have a feeling you are referring to Jr's career Top 10 percentage...if not, then my bad.  But his is right around 43%.

For the record:  Mark Martin is right around 54%

    Jeff Gordon is about 62%

    Jimmie Johnson is about 60%.

So in case you ARE referring to Jr's, then no, 43% is not all that great...If not, then disregard this post.  :)

Edit: I totally agree, driving for DEI for the last 3 years REALLY put a hurting on his career numbers...

It will be interesting, if he drives another 9 or 10 years (with HMS) to compare his number from DEI to HMS.

edit2: VP Tom I have a feeling this driver will be remembered in 10 years.
