Does any body know any good babysitting jobs for a 12 year old??

Well I started babysitting at 12 but I took a Red Cross Babysitting course and the parents were a little nervous when I was babysitting their child at that age but they trusted me because of that class I suggest before you get out there and babysit you should take a course like the Red Cross Babysitting one. It will make the parents feel more safe with their child in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing while they go out.

In a question earlier today, people were saying that they wouldn't leave their kids alone in the house for more than a couple of hours until they were 13... I think 12 is a bit young to be looking after other kids.

i'll be completely honest with you.  i myself wouldn't let a 12 year old watch my son but you may want to ask your parents if they have any friends who need someone to watch their kids.  when i was 12, i'd watch 2 kids, who at the time were 6 and 8 for two hours once a week.  that was basically my first babysitting job.  they were my parents friends.  if you can prove to them that you are capable to do it, then word of mouth spreads fast.  now on the same note, keep in mind, that was also 13 years ago.
