Does any body know any simulaton games that lets you create yore own universe?

  1. It depends what you mean by 'universe'. Essentially, any more or less isolated computational environment is its own universe. If I start up a game of, say, StarCraft or Age of Empires, I am in a very real sense creating a universe inside my computer. This universe would of course not actually contain real villagers or cavalry or alien spaceships or whatever, those are just representations on the screen. But it WOULD contain the same rules and mathematics and logic as we see in the game. It is quite possible that our own universe is also like this.

    However, I assume that you mean a universe somewhat representative of our own. Your best bet is probably Spore, but it won't be out for about another two months, and besides it's a proprietary game. I don't know of any free, available games that simulate a universe on the same array of different scales that Spore does, but I do know of some free programs that might pique your interest:

  2. Not anything that lets you create your own universe... at least not the way I think you want...

    But Spore (http://www.spore.com/) by EA Games comes really close in letting you create your own world and creatures which can grow and evolve.
