  4. Not really, but if you add details about what interests you, it would help us to answer you. You don't explain whether you are asking for yourself or a friend; if you are visiting, love films or art, pop or history, or only want to put a list together for your boss?

It does help, in a large city with loads of options, to know what you are interested in doing normally, what your budget is, if you like to get up early or stay out late on holidays, if you intend to hire a car and are concerned about parking fees, plan to use public transport or just stroll around.

(If you're an Irish senior citizen, public transport is free during offpeak times. If you come from the UK, there's a mutual agreement to honour the travel pass also.)  If you wanted to travel after 10 am on a train or bus, you'll find lots of bright elderly locals who have time to chat to you and recommend destinations & affordable options. If you get on a public bus at 8 am and want to chat about the state of the world & what you should see, while thousands of commuters are rushing to work, don't expect that they'll have time to schmooze with you!

Dublin's a lively and multi-cultural city, and the national currency is the Euro. (XE.com has the exchange rate - it changes daily at 14:30 pm.)

There's a popular student area called Temple Bar, on the South bank of the city centre, for tourist shops, late-night meals, pubs & music. There are vegan & vegetarian restaurants and a variety of eating choices & music clubs. There are plenty of internet cafes to keep in touch online. Museums, art galleries, shops, cafes, cinemas. The train along the coastline of Dublin Bay is called the DART.  There are lots of beaches and villages worth visiting along those stops.

Some visitors travel to track down ancestors, so I'd recommend different places to go, to them. I like history, so I enjoy the Viking-related tours, but they are also fun to try with a group. Try the Viking Splash, or Dublinia. Stroll around the National Gallery. Visit Croke Park stadium if you like sports. It's up to you. If only we knew what interests you! If you arrive, we'll be interested to find out ... enjoy, and welcome to my city!
